“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1) God has set the Spiritual times and seasons, and I believe that now is a time for us all to shine.

We are so grateful for the grace of God that was with us at our Annual Vision Week, conveying to us a real experience of both refreshing and prophetic encouragement. If you missed any of the meetings you can still view them here: http://www.kt.org/2018/01/vision-week-2018-session-1/.

On page 6 of this edition of the Revival Times we have detailed a particularly encouraging prophetic word that I gave during the week regarding us arising and shining – do read it through prayerfully.

Shining spiritual diamonds
Every rough diamond has the potential to shine brilliantly, but only through the craftsmanship of a master jeweller. Painstakingly and with great expertise the jeweller cuts each rough diamond into the optimum shape for it both to reflect light and also to allow light to penetrate through with a great sparkling effect. The fewer imperfections within a diamond, the more freely light can move though it and the brighter it will shine. Finally the jeweller expertly polishes away any external roughness or blemishes on the surface of the diamond.

You and I are rough diamonds in God’s kingdom and the Holy Spirit is gently and graciously shaping, cleansing and polishing us through his presence and his word. He is increasingly enabling his light to shine through us from one level of shining glory to another (2 Corinthians 3:18).

In these days let us allow the master jeweller of the Holy Spirit freedom to work on us, in us and through us. And remember when you look at a diamond in a jewellers shop it is always placed on the darkest of cloths to best reflect its brilliance. Do not fear the darkness around you, it is only there to allow you to shine for Jesus in the brightest possible way!

How Fortunate are the Peacemakers

How Fortunate are the Peacemakers

[4 min read] It is a basic feature of flawed humanity to want to control, to dominate, to be powerful. But this is not Jesus’ way. He did not commend the warriors or the rulers, the powerful or the leaders, instead he said: ‘How fortunate are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God’.

Rejuvenated in God

Rejuvenated in God

Have you noticed in life things get old and wear out? Your jeans, your shoes, your car. We sometimes push them to their very limit, squeezing that very last mile out of them; one might even say we run them into the ground.

Meekness

Meekness

[2 minute read] Every day, battles rage as nations or people groups try to establish supremacy over parts of the earth. Most people believe that ‘might’ will triumph over ‘right’ in the end, but Jesus suggests something different:

Starting up a Christian Group at work

Starting up a Christian Group at work

Over the last year, our church family has learnt a huge amount about doing things online, and our work by the ‘Giants’ groups in equipping our church did not slow down. Now, as more and more of us return to places of work, we are reminded of our harvest field with the number of close relationships we tend to develop in the workplace.

Overwhelming freedom in baptism

Overwhelming freedom in baptism

One night, I was listening to a worship song about being free and surrendering all to God. Whilst listening to the words I began to pray and asked God to feel his presence.
