Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is applicable to any personal information which is given by you to Kensington Temple via the web sites located at:
and all its related websites.

Where this Privacy Policy is inconsistent with the terms and conditions of any other area of Kensington Temple, the terms of this Privacy Policy shall prevail.

"You" shall mean you, the user of the site, "Kensington Temple" shall mean Kensington Temple (London City Church) part of the Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance, Registered Charity No. 251549, and its associated company's websites.

When using Kensington Temple websites you will encounter areas such as games, competitions or chat forums where you may be asked to enter User Information. Such User Information will only be used for the purposes stated at the collection point or in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Kensington Temple shall not sell or otherwise transfer the User Information to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of You. If applicable, You will have the opportunity to indicate whether You would like to "opt out" of receiving promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings from Kensington Temple and/or any third parties.

Kensington Temple will provide only aggregated data from these analyses to third parties. You should be aware that information and data may be automatically collected through the use of "cookies". "Cookies" are small text files a web site can use to recognize repeat users and allow Kensington Temple to observe behaviour and compile aggregate data in order to improve the Kensington Temple websites and to target its advertising. Kensington Temple will never store, keep or accept any of your credit card information over the Internet commonly known as the World Wide Web (www). All secure transactions and viewing is performed with a minimum 56Bit secure certificate up to a 128Bit secure certificate verified and approved by Thawte. All credit card transactions are performed on the Royal Bank of Scotland website which treats all sensitive information, such as credit card numbers and purchase orders, according to their own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Kensington Temple will never allow access to its computers, servers or networks to any unauthorised third party who may gain from access to user information, however as Kensington Temple does not store or view credit card information, this sensitive data can never be compromised.

You may notify Kensington Temple of any updates, amendments and corrections to previously collected User Information by emailing or using the Feedback Form on the Kensington Temple websites. Further, upon Your request, Kensington Temple will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete Your User Information from its database; however, it may be impossible to delete Your entry with some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information Kensington Temple holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. (We charge a fee for information requests.) Please address requests to the Data Protection Officer

If you are under 18, please make sure that you obtain your parent/guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information to any of Kensington Temple's websites. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.
Kensington Temple reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update this privacy policy without notifying any of its users.

Children who submit any information should do so only with parental consent, users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal details. Any information submitted on children will only be stored for the specific purposes provided and will be deleted once this purpose has expired. For example personal details submitted for a competition will be deleted once the competition is over. Forenames and ages are the only information that will be disclosed on public sites. Should parents decline this matter at a later date having consented to it, this information will be deleted. We will not condition a child's participation in a game, contest or other activity on the child's disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity. We seek to work and manage all information in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. For the purpose of this policy 'parents' means parents or current legal guardians.
