Baptisms Monthly @ KT Praise Party

In March we saw the launch of the new baptism emphasis and service at the KT Praise Party. This is a great new adventure for us as this puts us right back at the heart of what a New Testament Church is all about, getting people saved and baptised. Peter preached at Pentecost 'Repent, (turn around, change your heart) and be baptised (be immersed). On the first Saturday in March we had our first baptism, many families came and attended the service, afterwards we had a party for all of the guests with cooked food and drinks as people socialised afterwards. Every month at the praise party we will be having putting on a party and invite cell groups to join in vision for the new monthly baptisms. If anyone would like to be a part of the new Baptism Team on Saturday nights, please get in touch with us soon by phone or email. The next Baptism will be Saturday 10th May.

EAST LONDON MISSION EASTER EVANGELISM REPORT

The East London Mission, in continued obedience to the vision to win London and the world for Christ, organized another Evangelism blitz in East Ham from March 20th-21st. The focus was Friday night with worship led by Harry and the 230 Band, and a message by Gypsy William Lee. As a lead up to Friday night we distributed over 5000 fliers within the immediate vicinity, personally invited people by going door-to-door, and evangelized boldly in the high traffic areas, such as the high street and market. Friday night came and there was a sense of expectation that God would work in miraculous ways. Worship led by Harry and the 230 Band was fervent, and though due to unexpected circumstances Gypsy William Lee could not attend, Lee's assistant Liz adapted with a confident, relatable message and witnessing the greatest miracle of all, 8 people (of the 110 who attended) gave their lives to Christ that night, including a Hindu family! One could easily see that God's mighty hand is at work in East London! By Rakesh and Prethy Kurian

LAUNCH OF KT PRAISE PARTY CHOIR

In March we launched our very own KT Praise Party Choir which now has up to 8 members made up of men and women. The choir has a distinct African flavor and will be used by God to bring a gospel worship sound into the praise party service on a weekly basis. Bring out the drums, as I anticipate that God is gonna move through this team in an amazing way to reach the lost. Our vision for the choir is to resource all the work that we are doing on a Saturday night through music. Over the past 3 years we have had choir after choir, gospel artist after gospel artist come to the praise party as we have sort to bring a fresh worship sound into the church. We now believe that now is the time to train up our own talent in KT to fulfill the vision that God has placed upon us as a church.
