Study at IBIOL

Kensington Temple’s International Bible Institute of London was founded in 1985 by Colin Dye, the Senior Minister of Kensington Temple London City Church. Today, 30 years later, the International Bible Institute of London is one of the UK’s foremost Bible Colleges with a unique, pioneering approach to ministry.

IBIOL operates under an Apostolic and Prophetic mantle, with a mandate from God to prepare His people to the ministry of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher and to see them fulfil their purpose and destiny as radical disciples of Jesus. There in an unprecedented urgency for leaders to be formed, leaders who will give their all for the sake of the call to follow Jesus. IBIOL is the training place for first class leaders to a first class ministry.

IBIOL is a church-based Bible School and therefore shares the vision of Kensington Temple London City Church to Make, Mature and Mobilise disciples to fulfil the Great Commission to “Go into all the world and make disciples”. In addition to being a ‘Bible Institute’, we concentrate on training leaders. We  believe that “cell”-church contains the necessary elements for discipleship and training for leadership. In addition to attending regular classes, students fully participate in the cell life and ministry of Kensington Temple London City Church.

Like it’s founder, IBIOL has a world vision and this is reflected by the thousands of multi-national students that have graduated and moved back to their nations, or in many cases, moved on to other parts of the world to be used of God. IBIOL places a high priority on personal discipleship and together with a strong theological foundation, IBIOL believes in a passion for evangelism and in having a hunger for the Holy Spirit and His ministry of power and purity.

Student Life at the IBIOL
Life at IBIOL is dynamic and exciting as is life in the city of London. Students come from all over the world including cell members from the church. With over 109 different nationalities, the diverse cultural uniqueness is expressed in creative ways through the year at Kensington Temple and IBIOL.

There is a strong sense of togetherness as students work together grow in both discipleship and ministry. Worship times bring the sense of God’s presence, holiness and joy to the school. All the above and so much more add to IBIOL being on the forefront of cutting edge ministry, training and equipping in the Body of Christ.

Personal Mentoring
Along with close ties developed through the church and IBIOL staff, every student is placed in a leadership cell where a cell leader, oversees their spiritual development and growth.
