Governance at KTLCC
Kensington Temple London City Church has embarked on a pathway that seeks to clarify the structures and processes of our church, particularly in regard to governance, leadership, membership and participation.
To that end, find links attached to two documents entitled ‘Governance at Kensington Temple London City Church’ and ‘KTLCC Church Board Appointments – Autumn 2025’. Please read these documents carefully. As has already been outlined in Revival Times, we have a clear schedule of implementation for the new governance structure that enables discussion, prayerful consideration, and an opportunity for members to participate in the decision-making processes. The summary of the timeline is as follows:
- Monday 29 September: The process began for recognition and acceptance of nominations for the relevant roles on the KTLCC Church Board..
- Monday 13 October: The nomination process will close.
- Monday 20 October: Successful nominees names will be released to KTLCC church members.
- 7pm, Wednesday 29 October: a meeting of Men’s Net, LCC Net and Women’s Net will take place to vote for two independent board members for each constituency. This will be followed immediately by an extraordinary general meeting in which the KTLCC family will pray together and members will be asked to affirm the nominees presented for the KTLCC Church Board.
- Sunday 2 November – Sunday 9 November: a week of prayer.
- Sunday 9 November – Sunday 16 November: our ‘Energise’ Conference will take place, in which we look forward together to all that the Lord is calling us to as KTLCC as we step into the next season of our life together. This includes:
- A service of commissioning of the new board and SLT in the 9am and 11am services on Sunday 9 November*
- A service of commissioning for the LCC pastors and leaders at the 6pm service on Sunday 9 November

*Please note that the commissioning services was moved from 2 November to 9 November to coincide with our Energise Conference.
